How long have you been in the trade? Since November 2020 

What got you interested in your job? I've always been interested in working in a trade, since I was young and have always preferred to work on building and making things

What do you like most about your job? The hands on aspect and physical work

What do you dislike most about your job? It can get very hot and sweaty especially during the summer months

What route did you take into the industry? I had been at college doing accountancy before being offered a role in the company but shortly before the pandemic I dropped out as I was not enjoying the course and tried to pursue a different career, after working other jobs to keep me working I was offered a chance to join Matheson Damp Services

How long have you been using the Recoil Kneepads: We have been using them for a few months now after trying other knee pads and not being satisfied with them we switched to Recoil Kneepads

What is your overall opinion of the Recoil Kneepads? They are very comfortable and offer extra protection when working low down over rubble and other things, they offer more manoeuvrability than other brands which helps when you are working

Do you think it is important to take care of your body, specifically knees? What advice would you give to someone starting out in the industry about taking care of themselves from an early age? It definitely helps getting a good pair of knee pads as it can stop you kneeling on sharp objects like screws, nails etc and also helps with stiffness and pain after work
